& Tree Lighting

Join Us for Fall River’s Festive Event of the Year!

Come together with friends, family, and neighbours to celebrate the holiday season with our Lions Club Christmas Express Parade of Lights, and the Fall River 12th Annual Tree Lighting brought to you by Waverley Animal Hospital & FRABA.

Yes, FRABA and the Lions Club are are coming back together to bring you the festive event of the year!

Let's bring all the magic of the holidays to our community with fun, treats, entertainment, a dazzling parade, our annual tree lighting and of course, Santa & Mrs. Claus.

Event Schedule:

4:30 p.m. - 27th ANNUAL LIONS CHRISTMAS EXPRESS PARADE OF LIGHTS

Parade Route: Leave Lockview High School parking lot and turn RIGHT onto Lockview Road; LEFT onto Fall River Road; Proceed straight through the traffic lights on Highway 2 into the Fall River Plaza/Tim Horton's parking lot, turning right inside the parking lot at Tim Horton's, going past DQ and finishing at the far end of the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot.

​REGISTER YOUR FLOAT HERE There is no cost to include a float in our parade and in lieu of a cost, we kindly ask for donation to The Lions Club Christmas Express Consider holding a food drive at your business leading up the parade or you may donate at christmasexpress.ca/

ENTERTAINMENT & TREATS: As floats start arriving in the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot, entertainment and treats will begin. 

​

We are excited to host the musical duo, Brennan and Anna MacDonald, along with the Joyful Sounds Holidays Vocal Group.

When: 5:30 PM

Gather around our community tree just before 5:30pm to hear our Joyful Sounds Holiday Vocal Group, and then we'll finish the evening with a countdown to our star-shining TREE LIGHTING sponsored by Waverley Animal Hospital.

Important Information:

• Food Bank Donations will be accepted along the parade route and at the tree lighting.

• Letters to Santa can be dropped into Santa’s mailbox at the tree lighting.
