Barb MacLellan

President

A native of Inverness, Cape Breton, Barb MacLellan has been practising law for over 30 years in real estate,
wills and estates and family law in Fall River and Lower Sackville. When you enter Barb’s office she wants her
clients to feel comfortable and at ease as that is key to helping them make one of the biggest purchases of their
lives – a home, make decisions about their wills, take the right steps when a loved one has died or when moving
forward with a separation or divorce.
Barb has been trained in the Collaborative Law model since 2006, which assists couples
in resolving potential disputes resulting from their separation in a respectful and
compassionate way. Over 10 years ago she decided and openly announced that she would no longer go to court
for clients and now calls herself a Collaborative Family Lawyer and mediator.
In 2011, Barb was one of the founding members of FRABA, the Fall River & Area
Business Association. She is very excited to be returning as President of the Association, looking forward to
meeting new members and getting reacquainted with existing and former members.
Barb, her spouse, Stephen and their son Josh have lived in Fall River since 1997. Josh was a graduate of
Lockview High.
Barb is an avid sports enthusiast who used to play volleyball and coached the girls’ volleyball team at Lockview
High. She was a founding member of the Fall River Fury Volleyball Club in Fall River. Barb has always
financially supported various sports teams in their efforts to fundraise as well as various volunteer groups and
churches in the local community.
Barb continues to play softball in the Bedford Ladies Slow Pitch League since almost 30 years, golfs at
Oakfield Golf & Country Club and this year, began playing pickleball at the Gordon Snow Centre.

Hi, I'm Meagan, and I'm incredibly proud to be a co-founder of Good Fellas Stoves and Chimneys. This isn't just a job for me; it's a part of who I am and brings passion and genuine joy into my everyday life. I believe we've built something truly special here, and I really can't imagine doing anything else! You'll often find me strategizing in the office, or collaborating in key meetings – always focused on how we can grow our business and strengthen our connections within the communities we serve.

Beyond my work with Good Fellas, I'm deeply committed to making a positive impact right here in our community. I currently serve as Vice-Chair for the Better Business Bureau, serving Atlantic Canada and Treasurer for the Fall River and Surrounding Area Business Association (FRABA). These roles mean a lot to me, as they allow me to actively contribute to the growth and well-being of the communities I live and work in.

When I'm not focused on work, my world absolutely revolves around my friends and family. They are so important to me. My partner, Ryan, and I are proud parents to three busy children who keep life wonderfully chaotic and full of laughter! I'm also a big believer in staying active and loving the outdoors. You can often find me running, hiking, or biking. In fact, I've even recently started training for triathlons, and am always up for a new physical challenge! Beyond fitness, I thrive on new experiences, whether it's the thrill of bungee jumping, the adventure of trying exotic foods, or the excitement of traveling to new places.

I born and raised in the heart of Waverley, spending my early days paddling at Cheema, going through Waverley Memorial, LC Skerry, GPV and CPA. I have always enjoyed being involved in community events, starting out as VP on the Waverley Gold Rush committee for 7 years running the event learning, and having fun along the way. Most recently I volunteered my time to help out with Keloose, giving away cotton candy to the children’s day.

I Joined FRABA in 2018, to meet local business owners. In 2023 I joined the scholarship committee and golf committee to try to give back a little more to the community.

After 14 years in the Financial world I needed a change and I started my career in Insurance in 2019 as a Senior Business development agent with Allstate insurance in Bedford Commons, I have my Level 2 Insurance license.  I take pride in helping my clients understand their insurance needs. I will go over your current insurance and make sure on your worst days you know you are covered the right way.  I go over your policy and see if there are anyways to reduce your overall cost without losing any coverage.

I can be reached outside of the normal 9-5 to assist in making it easier for my clients to reach out with questions when you are sitting around in the evening chatting and a question comes up, send me a text. I will respond !

I look forward to meeting you all
