The 2023 Food Rally organized by FRABA in August proved to be a remarkable success, showcasing the efforts of our dedicated volunteer event's committee and the participating food truck vendors.
The Food Truck Rally in the LWF Firehall parking lot drew a strong crowd, defying concerns about the weather. The event unfolded under clear skies, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the festivities. A mix of familiar and new food trucks graced the occasion, offering a delightful array of culinary experiences.
A standout feature of this year's LWF event was the addition of kid-friendly games, face painting and a golf simulator for both adults and children, adding an extra layer of entertainment and making the event more inclusive for families.
In addition to the enjoyment, the event successfully raised funds for FRABA's continued operations. Generous contributions from our members and participants amounted to a significant sum, exceeding $180 through the 50/50 raffle. These funds will greatly assist us in furthering our mission to support and advocate for small businesses in our region.
Looking forward to 2024, FRABA is considering a change in the event's location. Your input as esteemed members of our association is highly valued. We invite your thoughts on two important aspects:
Location: We are contemplating keeping the LWF at its current venue or exploring a new location. Your suggestions and ideas regarding this matter are invaluable.
Amenities: Considering aspects such as parking, bar service, and restroom facilities, your preference between a location offering these amenities versus a more streamlined "grab and go" setup is crucial.
